HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER (Recruitment & Performance Management) – Based in
Headquarters

Responsibilities:

  • Source for talent that perfectly match the Company’s requirements
  • Develop creative and effective recruitment solutions
  • To develop and monitor the implementation of a comprehensive on-line performance management system for Mardec Group.
  • To provide guidance and advice to Mardec Group in establishing key result areas (KRA) and keyperformance indicators (KPI).
  • To develop a mechanism of performance measurement and integrate it with the Company’s reward system
  • Assist in communicating measurement standards and key performance indicators to all members of the organization to ensure the success of the Company’s performance management system

Requirements:

  • Degree in Human Resource Management/Business Administration/ Psychology/Social Science.
  • MBA will be an added advantage.
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience specialiasing in performance management & recruitment
  • Strong influencing, analytical and communication skills

HUMAN RESOURCE & ADMINISTRATION MANAGER – Based in Headquarters

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and manage the full spectrum of Human Resource and general administration functions
  • Manage and administer all human resource functions - manpower planning & staffing,
    performance management, compensation & benefits administration, industrial & employee
    relations, implementation of online HRIS and payroll administration for all subsidiaries of
    Mardec Group.
  • Provides strategic input and advice to Business Unit Heads and spearheads the HR team in supporting the businesses.
  • Manage annual appraisal system, salary review, bonuses, promotions, transfer, and terminationincluding compensation benefits.
  • Oversees general administration including procurement, insurance program for Mardec Group andother administration matters
  • Prepare reports and proposal for the approval of the Company’s Board Of Directors

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Studies/Administration or any related equivalent
  • Good in both spoken & written English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on working experience in Human Resource with at least 5 years in amanagerial position.
  • Sound knowledge of the Labour Law, Employment Acts, Industrial Relation and prevailing HR practices and legislations.

MARKETING MANAGER (POLYMER BASED PRODUCT) - Based in Penang

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing, executing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet the
    Company’s objectives.
  • To visit local and overseas customers, conduct customers’ profile review and advise the
    Management accordingly.
  • Determine demand for products and services offered by competitors and identify potential
    strategic business partners.
  • Develop pricing strategies, market share and the most competitive solution for customers.
  • Oversees product development or monitors trends that indicate new product requirement and respond accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor Degree or Master in Business Administration/Marketing or in any related field.
  • 4 to 6 years experience in marketing.
  • Experience in marketing similar product is an advantage.
  • Extensive experience in developing, maintaining and executing marketing strategies to meet company objectives.

MARKETING MANAGER (TECHNICALLY-SPECIFIED RUBBER) – Based in Headquarters

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Local & International marketing of all Specialty Rubber and Special Latex
    grades.
  • Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products.
  • Develop pricing strategy, marketing plans and the most competitive customer solution.
  • Monitor, review and report on all marketing activities and results on regular basis.
  • Determine and manage marketing budget.
Requirements:
  • Preferably candidates with Bachelor Degree in Polymer Technology/ Business/ Marketing or in any related field.
  • Field experience as Marketing Manager
  • Experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies.
  • Proven success in customer and market research.
  • Knowledge on polymer product is a must
ASSISTANT FACTORY MANAGER / PRODUCTION MANAGER – Based in Malaysia,
Indonesia, Thailand & Vietnam


Responsibilities:
  • To assist the Factory Manager in the operations of rubber processing factory locally and/or
    overseas.
  • To drive the team in achieving the highest effectiveness level to enhance the Company’s
    performance and its growth.
  • The successful candidates will be placed on a fast career development program and will be
    groomed to be a Factory Manager within 2 years' (Subject to individual performance)
Requirements:
  • Posses a University Degree in Science / Business Management or other related fields from a recognized universities.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in supervisory capacity in manufacturing environment
  • Preferably Male aged between 30-40 years. Must be a self starter, aggressive and possess
    excellent leadership quality.
  • Willing to be posted to rural areas, local & overseas.

MANAGER, MARDEC PROCESSING SDN BHD- Based in Headquarters

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare papers/presentation on special/ad-hoc projects from time to time.
  • Preparation of report/proposal for Board of Directors of the Company.
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly performance report and other management report.
  • Compile, coordinate and preparation of annual budget for board's approval.
    Monitor special projects program timelines, milestones, and resource usage.
  • Compile company performance and project progress report for management review.
    To attend to all secretarial & administrative duties and to provide support to the Management team of the Company with minimum supervision.
  • Liaise with Finance Department on daily, weekly and monthly funding availability and identify any requirements for extra funds
  • Identify, prepare and coordinate benchmarking and factories process improvements reports and study for the company.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administrtion, Engineering, Science, Chemical or equivalent professional fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of related working experience, preferably in special projects, corporate services or management of factory.
  • Possess good writing and comprehensive business reporting/research skills with the ability to structure and draw up various business plan, proposals and reports.

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT – Based in Headquarters

Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of financial reporting for Board of Directors.
  • Responsible for consolidation of accounts for Mardec Group.
  • Preparation of project paper/investment appraisal for joint venture and acquisition.
  • Preparation of fact book, annual report etc.
  • To liase with external auditors and tax agents.
  • To manage hedging of foreign exchange contracts for all foreign currencies.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in accounting.
  • At least 10 years of working experience preferably in manufacturing environment.
  • Registered with Malaysian Institute of Accountant or its equivalent.
  • Preferably Managers specializing in Cost Accounting.
  • Able to manage foreign exchange.
  • Willing to travel local and abroad

TECHNICAL & QUALITY MANAGEMENT EXECUTIVE – Based in Headquarters

Responsibilities:
  • To provide technical support to other subsidiaries of Mardec Group
  • To investigate technical problems/complaints from customers and offer solutions
  • Responsible for product development and provide technical inputs
  • To monitor quality programme to ensure all factories comply with customers’ specification
  • To compile Lab Test Result from all factories and endorse certification of all MARUB & MATEX.
  • To carry-out all the necessary trials and reports to ensure MPSB/MIL runs efficiency and as per customers’ requirement

Requirements:

  • Posses a Diploma or Degree in Rubber & Polymer Technology / Chemicals or any relevant
    discipline.

TECHNICAL & PRODUCTION EXECUTIVE - Based in Kedah (Baling), Pahang (Mentakab),
Trengganu (Kuala Berang), Perak (Tapah & Bota)

Responsibilities:
  • To monitor testing of Standard Malaysian Rubber (SMR) produced by the Company and other types of testing such as raw material testing, effluent sample testing and provide solutions to ensure standards are met at all times
  • To liase with commercial laboratories, customers and suppliers on quality aspect of the
    Company's products.
  • To prepare daily, weekly and monthly production plan.
  • To prepare reports and analysis on production and quality testing results.
  • To monitor production schedule as per delivery requirement.
  • To ensure all processes and products strictly comply with pre-determined quality.
  • To ensure the highest efficiency of resources utilisation.
Requirements:
  • Possess a Diploma or Degree in Rubber & Polymer Technology / Chemicals or any relevant
    discipline.

PURCHASING EXECUTIVES (Natural Rubber) – Based in Kedah (Baling), Pahang
(Mentakab), Perak (Bota), Perak (Tapah) & Trengganu (Kuala Berang)


Responsibilities:
  • To purchase sufficient volume of raw materials (natural rubber) to meet factory’s sales
    commitment, targeted volume, quality and costs objective.
  • To estimate dry rubber content of the raw material based on its physical conditions, origin,
    weather factor, season of the year and guided by rubber purchase standard operating procedure.
  • To supervise and manage the direct report performance.
  • To prepare, update and maintain the purchasing documentation
  • To maintain good relationship with suppliers to enhance Mardec’s status in the market as the buyer of choice.
  • To monitor the weighing process and raw material quality inspection by the employee in-charge to ensure no irregularities.
  • To update pricing strategy of competitors to the Factory Manager based on current market
    information.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in any fields.
  • Several years of working experience in the related field is an advantage.
  • A position that requires a unique combination of negotiation, analytical and excellent
    interpersonal skill.
  • Must be good in mental arithmetic skill in order to close a purchase deal effectively.

QUALITY INSPECTOR - Based in Kedah (Baling), Pahang (Mentakab), Trengganu (Kuala
Berang), Perak (Tapah & Bota)

Responsibilities:
  • Check and inspect finished rubber bale from factory reject (FR)
  • Provide real time information to the production supervisor on production of factory reject (FR)
  • Manage and ensure that finished products are free from any defects and contamination such as High Voltaire Matter (HVM), etc.
  • Check and inspect final bale weight
Requirements:
    • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in science discipline
    • At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
    • Well versed in Microsoft Office applications and good typing skills.
    • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
    • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
    • Must be responsible, organized and disciplined

IT EXECUTIVE – Based in Headquarters

Responsibilities:

  • Analyse, design, propose and implement computerized improvements to daily operations to achieve higher levels of efficiency.
  • Keep abreast with technological advancements to evaluate suitability to company’s requirements.
  • Provide prompt support to end users.
  • Establish operating procedures to ensure data integrity and meaningful reporting.
  • Provide support for PC and Networking.
  • Maintain internet related (lease line, homepage and security) system. • Maintain minimum targeted system uptime to ensure availability of timely and up-to-date information.
  • Maintain servers’ backup process.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in IT related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in system analysis.
  • Networking experience is essential.
  • Basic Accounting knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Up-to-date IT industry knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal & writing skills both in Bahasa Melayu and English.

ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE - Based in Kedah (Baling), Perak (Bota/Tapah), Pahang (Mentakab) & Trengganu (Kuala Berang)

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of full set of accounts within the specified time frame
  • To analyse profit & loss, balance sheet and financial statement and advice the Management accordingly
  • Monitoring of account receivable and payable
    •Managing daily fund requirement
  • Supervise all journal entries to ensure zero mistake
  • Supervise preparation of cheque, invoicing, billing & bank reconciliation
  • Record & maintain fixed asset & liase with bankers on any banking related matters
  • Prepare cash flow statement and monthly journal entries

Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Accountancy
  • At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field
  • Good interpersonal and Communication skill •Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status

ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE - Based in Headquarters

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of the periodical reports and Daily monitoring of fund through the Desktop
    Banking Facilities.
  • Daily monitoring of Bankers Acceptance, Short Term Loans etc.
  • Daily coding & data entry of the suppliers invoice, paid documents, journal entries etc. To ensure all journal entries to banking activities are entered properly into the system.
  • Preparation of cheque, invoicing & billing.
  • Bank reconciliation. Record & maintain fixed asset.
  • To liase with bankers on any banking related matters. Prepare cash flow statement, monthly journal entries, year-end schedules for audit purpose.
  • Managing daily fund requirement and transferring funds to respective factories. To coordinate with traders / marketing team on forex requirement / exposure for the
    month.

  • To monitor daily forex movement and work closely with money market team
  • To hedge the USD invoices against forex contract and to ensure all exposures are covered. To arrange for dispatch schedule and filing work by office assistant.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Good interpersonal and Communication skill.

INTERNAL AUDITOR (Financial)

Responsibilities:

  • To conduct financial audit for subsidiaries and Business Unit of MARDEC Group to ensure
    compliance with the Company's policies and applicable law and regulations.
  • To prepare audit report for the respective heads of Business Unit/Subsidiaries/Companies for their feedback.
  • To prepare audit report which incorporates feedback and comment from the respective heads for submission to Group Chief Executive.
  • To follow-up on issues raised in the previous audit report.
  • To carry out special investigation as and when instructed by the Management.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Accounting /Finance and/or professional qualifications
  • Minimum of 4 years related working experience.
  • Must possess good report writing skill, knowledge in risk management, particularly in risk based auditing, audit methodologies, technique and application.
  • Must possess a strong logical thinking process and ability to critically explore areas of significant risk exposures.
  • Possess excellent communication skills with positive attitude and good business acumen.
  • Able to work independently & deliver value-added audit recommendations
  • Posses own transport and willing to travel extensively (local and abroad).
SECRETARIAL EXECUTIVE – Based in Headquarters


Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for preparation of basic & complex statutory forms in compliance with the
    Companies Act 1965.
  • Responsible for preparation of resolution and minutes.
  • Effective organization of Annual General, Extraordinary General & Board Meetings.
  • Organising and coordinating internal Company inquiries.
  • Create and ensure effective filling systems of the Department.
  • Other corporate tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
  • Preferably candidate with Company Secretarial Licence / ICSA graduate.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Company Secretarial matters.
  • Independent, ambitious, strong initiative and willing to work long hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs secretarial duties and handles confidential information with utmost discretion.
  • To act with initiative, taking a large degree of responsibility.

Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Secretarial studies or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in the related field.
